Special Note: Delaying the Training
About the Kelowna Feldenkrais® Training
27 March, 2020
A Letter to You All,
Like all of you, we have been working to stay safe, protect ourselves and our loved ones and trying to see a path forward in this difficult time.We hope you and your friends and family are all well and staying as safe as possible. We recognize that these are primary in your life at the moment and send you our best wishes.
It has been a challenging time as we reorganize the future of the Kelowna Feldenkrais Training. How do we protect your safety and well-being now and still be able to offer the training experience we all wish for? At this point the future is all guess work. Looking toward that still-to -emerge time, the Kelowna Feldenkrais Training team has come up with a plan that will serve all our needs regarding the training.
First and foremost, being mindful of all our health and safety needs, and after much consideration, we have decided it is prudent to postpone the start of the training until March 2021. The postponement will give us all time to settle and we have come up with a schedule that will still have you graduate close to the original date.
We have put a lot of thought into how we can support you during this time. We plan to stay actively involved with your pre-training preparation and be responsive to your needs.
For people who are interested but have not yet taken the step to commit to the training, we have planned continuing with:
We feel it is important that we continue to reach out and support each other in these times. Julie and the rest of us on the team are looking forward to creating new materials to stimulate your learning and help you through these intense and isolating circumstances.
We invite you to keep up to date on what is happening via the website and our newsletter. Do not hesitate to contact any of us if you have questions or concerns. We are here to support each other.
We look forward to seeing you on-line and in-person in March 2021.
Stay well and keep learning.

The Kelowna Feldenkrais Training Program, originally scheduled to begin in June 2020, has been delayed due to COVID-19 to March, 2021. The program has been accredited by Feldenkrais Guild of North America and holds a registration certificate as a post secondary educational institution under the Private Training Act of the Province of British Columbia.
Our intention is to provide the highest quality of training for you.
Life is a learning journey for us all – a process of finding what we do well and how we can build on that, challenging our assumptions and exploring new options and possibilities, as well as deeply exploring how we ‘get in the way’ of our learning.
The Feldenkrais Method explores these questions through the medium of attending to our movement, both internally within, and externally moving in our environment, in all its different ways - detailed, global, small, large, fast and slow. We bring curiosity to the fore, and explore how we act in the world, on the world, and respond to the world we live in…….deeply investigating one of the main premises of Moshe Feldenkrais’ teaching – ‘If you know what you are doing you can do what you want’.
We have a wonderful team on board and we are collaborating to create a great learning environment for you all throughout your journey.
It’s a wonderful adventure and we look forward to sharing it with you and continuing our learning journey with you all.
