Join us for an intensive three-week exploration in expanding your awareness and understanding using the Feldenkrais Method.
This three-week immersion is also the first segment of the Kelowna Feldenkrais Training.
Many people have been telling us that participating in the Professional Training is not their need -- but having an intense period of three weeks would meet their need. Thus we are inviting members of the public to apply -- the only time during the training that the public will be invited!
The intensive period will be February 28–March 19, 2021.
The first step is to click here to fill out our online form.
The tuition of $2721.43 is due by February 25.

Come to your senses:
Take in the world around you for a moment using your senses of seeing, hearing and smelling. Now imagine how you would learn about your world if you were missing even one of these senses. And, without them, how would you communicate your needs? How would you navigate and move through the world?
We learned to use our senses—our teleceptors—as babies, and continue to refine and integrate them throughout our lives.
Use Your Head!
There is a whole lot of world out there we cannot touch. These three senses, located in your head, help to navigate the world beyond our reach. They tell us where we are in space, what is around us, help us balance and avoid obstacles (and so much more).
The Nose Knows.
Smell gives cues as to safety or danger as well as helping with sound production for communication. It is also a key to taste, and can be a source of pleasure and comfort.
Keep Your Eyes on the Prize.
Eyes inform us about what is beyond our grasp and directs our grasp to what we wish to hold. They help orient us, and help us balance and navigate gracefully through the world.
Ears also help to orient locate us in space. They inform us of danger, are a key to balance and sense of rhythm in movement. Ask yourself, “Without hearing, how would I learn to speak?”
Alice Friedman and Gisele St. Hilaire will help us explore, refine, and integrate these amazing abilities.
Revisit the joy of learning as an infant. Discover the genius inherent in your movement.
If you are considering enrolling in the training it’s an opportunity to gain insight, understanding and experience in a foundation of human development.

In this series we revisit our infant curiosity and the serious play that develops our movement and awareness, to bring us to the nuanced, dextrous, differentiated skills that make up our adult actions. Dancing, sports, singing, drawing and using tools all depended on the development of our early learning skills, and we can continue to revisit and refine those actions.
You will re-discover the wonders of learning as the child you once were. Reconnect to that way of learning to improve your life today and gain insights into helping others.
